Blueprint AbroadGlobal Mobility Advisory

About the practice

We sell a plan, not a passport.

Blueprint Abroad exists because the international-mobility market is full of destinations and short on sequencing. People are sold a country, then discover eighteen months later that their tax residence, their company and their bank account do not agree with each other.

The practice is Canadian and the client base is not. That combination matters: Canada permits dual and multiple citizenship, so a Canadian client can hold an inherited European passport without surrendering anything — and clients from countries that restrict dual nationality get a different plan entirely.

Position

An advisory practice, not a law firm.

This distinction is the most important thing on this page. We are not lawyers, licensed tax advisers or financial advisers, and we do not provide legal, tax, immigration or investment advice. We do not file applications and we do not appear on your behalf before any authority.

What we do is design and coordinate. We assess your circumstances, model the routes that are legally open to you, identify the order in which the steps must happen, and then work alongside licensed counsel in each jurisdiction who carry out the regulated work and provide the advice that only they are permitted to give.

We are explicit about where that boundary sits because the alternative — an adviser who blurs it — is how people end up with a structure that is legal in isolation and incoherent as a whole.

Our compensationWe are paid by clients, not by introduction partners. We do not accept commission from law firms, banks, fund managers or programme agents for referring you to them. If a recommendation would earn us a fee from a third party, we decline the fee rather than take it.

Principles

01

Sequence before selection

The order of operations determines the outcome more often than the choice of country does.

02

Total cost, stated plainly

Statutory contributions are the advertised number. Deposits, holding costs, renewals and presence requirements are the real one. We give both.

03

Political exposure is a risk factor

Several major programmes have closed or been repriced since 2023. We treat that probability as part of the advice, not a disclaimer at the bottom.

04

The cheapest route is often in your family

Descent-based citizenship is frequently available and routinely overlooked. We check before we quote.

05

No guarantees, ever

Approval sits with governments. Anyone guaranteeing a visa or a passport is telling you something about themselves.

Coverage

What we work on, and what we do not.

An honest scope is more useful than a broad one.

Within scope

  • Citizenship by descent — screening, chain mapping and sequencing across European registers.
  • Residency route assessment and comparison across jurisdictions.
  • Sequencing of residency, tax residence and corporate residence.
  • Total-cost modelling including holding and renewal costs.
  • Coordination with licensed local counsel, bankers and immigration professionals.
  • Presence-day and renewal tracking after the plan is live.

Outside scope

  • Legal advice, legal opinions, or representation before any authority.
  • Tax return preparation, tax filing, or formal tax opinions.
  • Investment advice, portfolio management, or product recommendation.
  • Filing visa, residency or citizenship applications on your behalf.
  • Any arrangement whose purpose depends on non-disclosure to a tax authority.
  • Guarantees of approval for any application, anywhere.

How to engage

Start with the assessment.

The engagement begins with a fixed-fee assessment, quoted before any work starts and credited against a full blueprint if you proceed. It produces a written view of which routes are genuinely open to you, which are closed, and what the realistic cost and timeline look like for each.

If the honest answer is that you do not need us — because descent eligibility covers you, or because your circumstances do not support a viable route — you will hear that in the assessment rather than several phases later.

Request an assessment

Next step

Start with the assessment, not the application.

A fixed-fee assessment reviews your citizenship, family, income sources and timeline, and tells you which two or three routes are actually viable — before you spend anything on an application.
