A plan built around your life, not a country.
We design the residency, citizenship, tax and business decisions as one coordinated plan — then document the order they have to happen in. The recommendation comes from your citizenship, your income, your family and your timeline. Not from a brochure, and not from whatever programme currently pays the highest introduction fee.

Tailored, not templated
Two people with the same income rarely need the same plan.
A founder selling a company, a consultant billing from a laptop, and a couple retiring on a pension can all want "lower tax in Europe". They should not get the same answer.
We start with what you cannot change
Your citizenship, family structure, income sources and nationality history determine which routes are legally open to you. Those are the constraints. Everything else is design.
The tax answer is a sequence, not a country
Becoming resident somewhere new before ending residence somewhere old can leave you resident in both for a calendar year. Ordering that correctly is worth more than any structure.
Every recommendation carries a trade-off
A jurisdiction that eliminates tax will usually ask for presence, capital, or patience. Our shortlists name the trade-off rather than hiding it in a footnote.
We tell you what it costs after the fee
Statutory contributions are the advertised number. Deposits, holding costs, renewals and presence requirements are the real one. You get both, separated.
We do not sell what you can get for free
If citizenship by descent is available through a grandparent, we will say so before you pay for an investment route. It is cheaper, faster and usually more durable.

25 jurisdictions, and the honesty to rank them.
Advisory areas
Six decisions that have to agree with each other.
Residency
A legal right to live somewhere is the foundation of every other decision. We start there.
ReadCitizenship
Before anything is bought, we check whether a citizenship is already in the family. It is the cheapest route in the field and the one most often missed.
ReadTax & Structuring
Where you are tax resident, and in what order you fix it, is worth more than any structure.
ReadBusiness Relocation
Moving the company is often harder than moving the person, and it is where plans break.
ReadAsset Diversification
Legal residency and financial concentration are separate risks. Plans should address both.
ReadFamily & Lifestyle
Schools, healthcare, and whether your family will actually be happy there.
ReadThe engagement
Five phases, one document.
Discovery
A structured assessment of your citizenship, family, income sources, business interests, timeline and what you actually want the move to change.
Modelling
We model two to four viable pathways side by side — cost, timeline, presence requirements, tax exposure and risk of programme change.
The Blueprint
A written plan: the recommended route, the order of operations, document requirements, and the decision points that could change it.
Execution
Coordination with licensed local counsel, tax advisers, bankers and immigration professionals in each jurisdiction. We manage the sequence, not the filings.
Maintenance
Renewals, presence-day tracking, and annual review of whether the plan still matches your circumstances and the law.
The pricing question
Six-figure advice. Four-figure fees.
The best-known practices in this field are built for clients with nine-figure balance sheets, and their engagements are priced accordingly — six figures is the usual entry point, and the work is genuinely excellent. Most people who need this advice are not in that position. We do the same analysis and hand you the same document, at a price published on this page.
Same method, smaller firm
One adviser doing the sequencing, not a partner who sells the work and an associate who performs it. You are paying for judgement rather than overhead.
Fixed fees, not hourly
The number on the fees page is the number on the invoice. Scope changes are agreed before they are billed, and the assessment fee is credited against the blueprint.
The answer can be "you do not need us"
If descent eligibility already solves your problem, or if no route is realistically open, we say so in the assessment and you stop there. That is cheaper for you and better for us.
Fees
A fixed price, published.
A written view of which routes are open to you, which are closed, and the realistic cost of each. Credited in full against a blueprint if you proceed.
One document: the recommended sequence, the documents each step requires, the consolidated cost model and the risk register. Fixed price, not hourly.
Presence-day tracking, renewal calendars and re-checks against programme changes while the plan is live. Optional, cancellable.
Statutory fees, government charges and local counsel's fees are separate and disclosed individually inside the blueprint. We take no commission from any provider we recommend.

Four that come up most often.
PTPortugal
Narrowed golden-visa routes after 2023 — funds and income pathways remain.
PAPanama
Territorial taxation and a USD economy — the classic offshore base.
AEUnited Arab Emirates
No personal income tax; 9% corporate tax above the threshold.
MTMalta
EU member state with a statutory citizenship-by-investment route.
Starting out
Work or study abroad for a year, without a six-figure plan.
We screen 14 youth mobility schemes — working holiday, youth mobility and reciprocal arrangements in both directions. If you are Canadian, that means the routes out: the UK to 35, Australia and New Zealand, Japan to 30, and the European schemes most people never hear about. If you are coming to Canada, it means knowing whether you are in the IEC pool for a category that actually draws.
Youth mobility is a two-year product. It does not need the multi-jurisdiction sequencing that a full blueprint does, and most of it is document discipline rather than judgement. Pricing it like a private-client engagement would be dishonest. It is also, frankly, how we meet people: a good number of the clients we do full plans for started with a working holiday in their twenties.
Government fees, insurance and the funds you must show are separate and stated per scheme. The eligibility check is genuinely free.

Working notes from the practice.
The sequencing problem: why the order of your move matters more than the destination
Most international plans fail for a reason that has nothing to do with which country was chosen. They fail because the steps were taken in the wrong order.
What actually survived the golden visa era
Portugal closed the property route. Ireland closed its programme. Cyprus closed citizenship. What is left, and what does it tell you about how these programmes change?
Territorial tax systems are not tax exemptions
Panama, Georgia and Paraguay are routinely described as zero-tax countries. That description is wrong in a way that costs people money.
The podcast
The Blueprint Abroad Podcast
One decision per episode, taken apart. The mechanics rather than the marketing — how routes actually work, where the rules conflict, and what a programme change means for a plan already in motion.
